Am 22.1.2026 hat die Academy die Nominierung für die 98. OSCARS 2026 bekannt gegeben. Dabei hat BLOOD & SINNERS (im Original nur SINNERS) die Nase vorn mit 16 Nominierungen - Rekord! Ihm folgen ONE BATTLE AFTER ANOTHER mit 13 und SENTIMENTAL VALUE bzw. MARTY SURPREME mit je 9 sowie HAMNET mit 8 Nominierungen. Der deutsche Beitrag IN DIE SONNE SCHAUEN hat es nicht geschafft, aber dafür darf der in Deutschland geborene Komponist Max Richter mit seinem Score für HAMNET hoffen.
